MY DARLING DAUGHTER Angie, who has my first grandbaby on board and is therefore thinking of all things child-related, emailed me a list of Cute Kid Sayings, some of which are printable. A sample:

Angie and husband Guinness will soon be collecting original Cute Kid Sayings from their own Cute Kid.

He explained that, although the “prescreening” inquiries that show up on your credit report aren’t supposed to impact your FICO score….they often do. ONCE IN AWHILE, it’s important to carve out a slice of time to recharge your batteries. For me, a couple of hours out on the golf course does wonders to clear the head and focus the mind. Last Tuesday afternoon was an especially memorable time. With the temperature hanging at 108 degrees, my 80-year-old Daddy stopped after nine holes. A wise man. I decided to continue. I was enjoying the solitude of the near-empty course (Most people are too smart to be out there on such a day). I lasted another twelve holes before giving it up.

THE BREEZE felt a lot like a blast from a hair dryer on the “High” setting, but it was a beautiful afternoon. I was back to work after less than four hours away, none the worse for wear. Now YOU tell one!
